Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are aired
by KSJS to promote non-profit events and
provide information of interest to San Jose State University students
and members of the community.
Promoting Your Event on KSJS
To promote your non-profit organization's non-commercial
event, you must complete and submit a KSJS
PSA FORM at least 2 weeks before you want KSJS
to air your PSA. You must include the following information
on the PSA FORM:
1. Name of your Organization
2. Your name
3. Your phone number
4. Name of the Event
5. Start Date of the event
6. Date event ends
7. Desired PSA start date
8. Type of PSA desired (Live or Recorded)
9. Desired length for PSA (30 or 60 Seconds)
10. Information about your event (or text of the PSA).
Important Information
1. PSA Requests received less than 2 weeks before
an event starts will not be produced or aired.
2. PSA lengths are 30 or 60 seconds only.
3. If you provide a text of your PSA, it will probably be edited
to conform to KSJS style and time constraints.
